Sheri Church graduated from Baker
College in 2003 with an AAS in veterinary technology. She is
currently employed as a licensed veterinary technician for West
Michigan Veterinary Service in Coopersville, MI. WMVS is a mixed
animal practice and they provide service for a wide variety of
animals. In the near future, Sheri hopes to implement puppy and
kitten socialization classes at WMVS.
Sheri became interested in behavior when she attended the Western Veterinary Conference (WVC) in February 2006. In the spring of 2007, she had the honor of attending Purdue’s DOGS! Course after winning the SVBT scholarship. Last spring, Sheri started working towards a bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology from St. Petersburg College When she is not working, Sheri can sometimes be found with her nose in a book or journal (behavior related of course!), working on The Behavior Perspective, playing in the garden, or trying to teach her crazy Lab something new with the clicker. Sheri lives in Twin Lake, MI with her husband (Jason), one dog (Hemi), four cats (Shorty, Tinkerbell, Pocono, & Greg Zipadelli), and two bunnies (Crunch & Munch).
