SVBT BenefactorsThe launch
of this organization has been assisted by the generous support of Hill's
Pet Nutrition. Hills has helped sponsor all of the SVBT’s annual receptions.
Hill's is a company that has continually
treated veterinary technicians with appreciation and respect. It is
entirely fitting that their new tag line is "Hill's Supporting
the Veterinary Technician For Over 25 Years". Thank you, Hills
for your strong support of SVBT and veterinary technicians in general.
Visit the
technician area of the Hill's website! Campbell Pet Company specializes in carrying products to make technicians’ jobs easier. In addition to a full array of tools for the general practice, they also have many products for those practices offering behavior services. They have the hard to find basket muzzle in both plastic and wire styles, Kongs, Havaballs, Haltis, and books and tapes by Ian Dunbar as well as Gary Landsberg and Wayne Hunthausen. Their generous support paid the costs associated with publishing the Fall 2004 and Winter 2005 SVBT newsletter, The Behavior Perspective. Novartis has joined in helping SVBT maintain their high standards and quality in producing its Brochures. Novartis makes a variety of human and animal health products. The one that those of us in the behavior field are most familiar with is, of course, Clomicalm. Clomicalm is the only medication specifically approved for the treatment of Separation Anxiety. When you are at a continuing education conference and see the Novartis booth, be sure to stop in and tell them how much we all appreciate their support. The SVBT Board of Directors sends a special thank you to Premier Pet Products whose generous support of this organization started before we even had a name. Premier makes Gentle Leader, Easy Walk Harness, Citronella bark collars, busy buddies and the UP kit. We thank them for their donation towards the Annual Reception and Member Award. Premier works to improve relationships between owners and pets through education and their line of humane behavior modification tools. They have been a strong patron of veterinary behavioral medicine as well as humane dog training for many years. We appreciate their support. |
